I started my day today as I usually do, on the negative I am feeling and not on what God has accomplished through me.  Perhaps it is this time of year when we begin to contemplate a new year and what would we do differently as we step into this new year.  

I decided to be a fruit inspector of my life and look back on this year to see what was accomplished and what areas of my life produced fruit and what areas may have just kept me distracted and unproductive.  When you begin to focus on the fruit of your life instead of the disappointments or frustrations your view point changes drastically. 

We set out at the beginning 2024 with a determination to use our money to advance the Kingdom of God in a new way.  Did it stretch us? Oh boy, I couldn't begin to tell you how it has stretched us. Fear of lack is a BIG pressure in my life, probably because I grew up with that tension. I look at the lack more than the prosperity. My intention is to not take this time to beat myself up so let me change my focus to what was accomplished this year. 

We set out to sow in a way we had never done before. We sowed for the purpose ot seeing God's Kingdom advanced and we did it with intentionality. Looking back I see that God began to move mightedly in South Dakota. What had seemingly been locked up suddenly opened up. We found ourselves involved in 3 trips to South Dakota with our Pastor to minister to many people in the Lemmon and Spearfish area. The door has continued to open even wider. God took notice of South Dakota in a new way. Why? Because our sowing opens the door for God to move. He moved in our own home state of South Dakota. 

I began to see my husband's health turn around.  He has struggled for so many years and suddenly it is as if his body is being renewed.  Major step forward and I believe our sowing opened up the heart of God on our behalf.  

Then God opened up Kentucky in a new way.  Why? Because our sowing opened the heart of God on our behalf. God moved us into an opportunity to be used by Him to see Kentucky open in a new way.  More on that later.  I have a story to share and I intend to share it because God is faithful to His word and if you will position yourself he will use you in ways you never expected. 

Now, I am not saying we are anything special, but I am saying when we sow we open the heart of God on our behalf to see God do things we never knew were possible. Then the desires of our heart are laid before him and through our giving we can position ourselves for those dreams to be unlocked.  

We had our challenges this year. Mindsets that have plagued me for years are beginning to be broken. You have no idea how much you live trapped by mindsets that keep you stuck, broke, and disgusted. Just being real with you. It takes years to overcome the mindsets that you have been raised up in and never knew were there until you step out and make a major change in your life. I refuse to live under mindsets that undermine the power of my God to do mighty things through our life. 

So I step into this new year not making a bunch of resolutions to myself that I have no intention of following through on and I look at what worked in 2024 and the desires of my heart I saw fulfilled and I recognize the reason that happened and I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus (Phillipians 3:14).

What would I change? I would become even more focused on what produced in my life. I would let go of the distractions that keep me confused. I would lay aside all the fear of lack and step into a new revelation of the power of the seed in my life. The power of the seed to position your life to see God move in areas you have battled with all your life.  

Take a new journey with me.  Let's see 2025 break open in new ways we never imagined.  Give with intentionality and purpose. Your money has a mission tied to it. What are you doing with it?  I intend to see 2025 be the most prosperous year of my life.  In 2025, I believe that mindsets that have plaqued me are broken and I will walk into a new sense of freedom I have never known. In 2025 I believe new business ideas will come to us to produce even more "seed" for the advancement of God's Kingdom.  

Take some time today and establish some Kingdom goals in your life. Personal goals are great but you need Kingdom goals as well. Your money needs a mission tied to it or you squander it on things that have no eternal impact. Stretch yourself and allow God to expand your capacity to receive more from him.  You can't see expansion holding onto the same thing you have always done. Give with intentionality, purpose and expectation and watch God unlock things in your heart and see the fulfillment of dreams that perhaps you have laid dorment because of disappointment.  Dare to dream again!  Dare to believe again!

2025, I welcome you with open arms.  I embrace the new things of God and step into the promises of God for my life.  It's going to be a good year!
